We are a little family hobby farm In Ontario, Canada. We love animals & getting to know people like you.
We have a collection of unique chicken breeds and bunnies who come from various reputable breeders.
Our birds are separated by breed & by our special projects. They are our pets & get lots of care & handling. After all , we have these beauties because we love them.
We have worked hard to build the genetics in our pens & are continuously working on improving our birds.
We look at our breeding program as long term projects. Our goal is to gain a deeper understanding of each breed & to meet the breed standards while having family friendly pets who are healthy, beautiful & lay colourful eggs.
Hatching chicks never gets old. We love being a part of that experience with our customers & welcome questions.

* Thank you for considering adding some Broody Bunch Birds & Bunnies to your Family
*We are trying something new this year to help us create a new routine on our hobby farm. We are hoping this will help us and you plan your season.
* Dwarf bunnies will be bred during winter months, Large breed bunnies will be bred in spring, early summer & Fall,
*Chicken hatching will start in late March through June. Hatching eggs will be sold in May & June, August & September. Exceptions may occur.
* If interested in being on our wish list for an order, please submit your name and number along with your breed quantity request to our email tanya@broodybunch.com or you may text my cell at 289-221-5151. We can not guarantee your order timeline or quantities but we will do our best. We will not hold your order more than 3 days. We will notify you when you are coming up on the wait list.
*We try to time hatches around the weekends but there is no guarantee. Once hatch season starts we load our incubators each week and sometimes twice a week with available breeds. * All chicks are sold as unsexed or ”straight run” unless specified. If you do not want roosters, we have beautiful breeds who are sexable at hatch.
* We handle our hatching eggs carefully & only release breeds after we see successful hatch rates and continue to test hatch throughout the season. Because we can not control how they are handled after leaving our care, we can not guarantee eggs after they leave our property. Multiple dozens can be ordered but We have a one dozen limit per breed or a 2 dozen limit for our variety packs per each order. Our pens are smaller this year and this ensures the freshest eggs.
* Our chicks are pre-packed ready for pickup before your appointment.. We are happy to send pictures ahead of your preordered chick box. We have viewing cages for our pullets and cockerals and ask that you please bring your own box or carrier for these larger birds..
* We have a 3 chick minimum. Chicks do better in groups.
* At this time we do not vaccinate our chicks but we do feed our chicken chicks medicated chick starter.
*Pet Bunnies come with transition pellets & we ask that those under 18 have a parent present or in communication with us before picking up your new friend.
* Thank you for understanding, but for your safety & the safety of our birds, we no longer give tours of our birds & facilities. We have a circular driveway & for your comfort while waiting for your order, we have a seating area on our patio by our front door.

* Before coming for a visit, please set up an appointment. An appointment allows us to lock up our dogs & prepare your order for viewing for a more peaceful & healthy experience for everyone. Thank you.
